If you’ve been looking through our website, you may have noticed that some of our labels are listed as being “Laser Labels” and some are listed as “Inkjet Labels” – meaning they can ONLY be printed with a laser printer OR with an inkjet printer.
This is because these labels are made with materials that have been chosen because they work more effectively with one of the printing methods – laser printing or inkjet printing. Laser printers and inkjet printers work in two very different ways and one way to improve the quality of print that they can achieve is to make sure that you use materials that are compatible with one of those printing methods.
Laser Printers – Heat & Pressure + Toner
Laser printers work by using heat and pressure to bond toner (a dry powder) onto the surface being printed. This means that the materials used to make laser labels will be chosen because they can withstand exposure to high temperatures (without being damaged or deformed by the printing process) and offer a smooth surface that the toner can bond with more efficiently. Paper laser labels will also have a higher moisture content to prevent the paper from drying out and cracking during the printing process.
Our label products designed specifically for use with LASER printers are: Freezer Paper, Gloss White Paper, Gloss Transparent Polyester, Removable Gloss Transparent Polyester, Matt Transparent Polyester, Gloss White Polyester, Matt White Polyester, Removable Matt White Polyester, Silver Polyester, Silver VOID Polyester, Tamper Evident Vinyl, Fluorescent Paper, and Gold & Silver Paper.
Inkjet Printer – Dispersal Of Ink
Inkjet printers deposit ink onto the surface being printed, where the ink dries in place with some or all of the ink being absorbed by the material being printed. This means that inkjet labels tend to be made with materials that have a porous surface, which will help to absorb the inks and allow them to dry in place more efficiently (creating a higher quality of print).
Our label products designed specifically for use with INKJET printers are: Gloss Clear Polyester.
We also have a range of label products that can be printed with EITHER a laser printer OR an inkjet printer:
Permanent Matt White Paper, Removable Matt White Paper, Super Removable Matt White Paper, High Tack Paper, Gloss White Photo Quality Paper, Premium Quality Paper, Opaque Paper, Matt White Polyethylene, Coloured Paper, Removable Coloured Paper, and Kraft Paper.
These days, both inkjet and laser printers are capable of producing high quality, high resolution print, which means there isn’t a great deal of difference between the two. Some prefer to use inkjet printers if they are producing high resolution prints of photographs or graphic designs, while laser printers will ALWAYS be the better option if you need to produce WATERPROOF print (inkjet inks tend to be water-based, which means they will run or smudge if they are exposed to water or handled a lot).
You should always make sure that you use a laser printer to print laser labels and an inkjet printer to print inkjet labels; if your labels are NOT compatible with your printer you will find that AT BEST your print will be of poor quality (and likely to smudge or flake away) while AT WORST you could actually damage both your labels AND your printer.
If you aren’t sure what sort of materials your printer can process, it’s always worth checking your printer’s manual because the manufacturer will have created a specification list that indicates the materials that your printer can (and cannot) process; you may also want to take advantage of our free sample request service so you can test your printer to see how well it handles different materials before you make an order.
All of our label products are listed along with their printer compatibility on our List Of All Label Materials page; click on the “View Products” links to find out more about each label range (including the sizes available) or to place an order. For more printing tips and advice, take a look through our Help Section and our Blog Posts.

Over the years, Word has gone through several updates (some larger than others), which can make it difficult to work out what editing tools are available (and where they’ve been hidden) when it comes to designing a label template. Where possible, we provide advice for a number of different versions of Word so that all of our customers are able to design a label template using the version of Word that they have installed BUT this may mean that if customers have an issue, we will need to know what version of Word they have to be able to help them more effectively – and some customers will have absolutely no idea which version they are using.
So, this blog is designed to be a quick-fire guide to help you find out which version of Word you have – so you can find out exactly where your formatting and editing tools are hidden!
Word is usually sold as part of a package called “Microsoft Office”; this means that the version of Word you are using might be listed as Word XXXX or Office XXXX (where the XXXX refers to the year or version of Word that you have installed).
It may be possible to find out what version of Word you have simply by searching for a list of programs/software you have installed. For most devices running Windows, this is as simple as clicking on the “Start” button in the bottom left of the screen, clicking on “All Programs”, and looking for Microsoft Word or Microsoft Office in that list – some versions will have the date/version listed here.
Alternatively, you can find out through Word itself by following these guidelines:
- File > Account
Click on “File” in the top left part of your screen and then click on “Account”. The right hand side of this page should have the title “Product Information” and will identify the version of Office that you have installed.
This applies to Word 2016 and Word 2013, as well as Office 365.
- File > Help
Click on “File” in the top left part of your screen and then click on “Help”. The right hand side of this page should show the version of Office that you have installed.
This applies to Word 2010.
- Microsoft Office Button > Word Options > Resources
If you have the round Microsoft Office button in the top left of your screen (instead of “File”), click on the Office button, then click “Word Options”, and select “Resources”. The last item in the list on the right hand side should say “About Microsoft Office” to indicate the version of Office that you have installed.
This applies to Word 2007.
- Help > About Microsoft Office Word
If none of these options have helped, then try clicking on the “Help” option at the top of your screen and selecting “About Microsoft Office Word”, which should bring up information to indicate the version of Office that you have installed.
This applies to Word 2003.
Very easy! We’ve designed both of our products to be quick and simple for parents to use so that they have more time to get on with the more fun things in life (and don’t have to spend hours sewing in name label after name label).
STIKINS ® NAME LABELS – multipurpose name labels that stick in and stay in
Our Stikins ® are definitely the quickest and simplest of our name label products to apply; these easy to use name labels simply peel off their backing sheet and stick onto the wash-care label of clothing and fabric items or directly onto a whole range of personal items, including water bottles and lunch boxes, shoes and bags, stationery kits and phones, and P.E. equipment.
There’s no sewing or ironing required; all you need to do is make sure that the items you are labelling are clean and dry, stick on your name labels, and then leave the items for 24 hours before washing them for the first time (to ensure that the adhesive has fully and completely set).
We do advise that you wash brand new items of school uniform before you apply your Stikins ® name labels; this is because these items are often treated with chemicals to preserve them during storage and despatch and they may also have traces of excess dye in them, which can prevent your name labels from adhering directly onto the wash-care label correctly.
TRONS ® NAME TRANSFERS – superb iron-on labels that create a completely permanent name label on any fabric item
Our Trons ® name transfers do take a little longer (and require a little more care) to apply properly BUT they will create a completely permanent name label (that won’t start to peel up or fall off like traditional iron-on name labels often do).
Our name transfers differ from traditional iron-on name labels because they work in the same way as transfers used to add designs onto T-shirts; where traditional iron-on name labels are made up of several layers and sit on TOP of the item you want to label, our name transfers are made of one ultra-thin layer that fuses and bonds with the fabric of your items to become a permanent part of those items.
Trons ® have a simple six-step process for application:
- Make sure your item is clean and dry, and turn it inside out. Set your iron to its maximum heat setting and make sure you have a suitable hard, flat surface to work on (do not use an ironing board).
- Cut or tear one of the silicon sheets provided into pieces; each piece should be bigger than the labels and should only be used once.
- Line your item up to the edge of the surface you are working on and place a label face up on top of your item, making sure that the label is sitting at the very edge of the surface.
- Put a piece of your silicon paper on top of the label, ensuring that the silicon is placed with the shiny side facing downwards.
- Iron the silicon paper with the tip of your iron; press down firmly and move the iron from side to side. Iron for 25 seconds and do NOT use steam.
- Remove the silicon paper while it is still hot. Allow your transfer to cool and check if it has bonded successfully with the material of your item. If not, repeat step 5.
Remember, if you have any concerns about applying your labels, don’t panic! Each pack of name labels and name transfers that we despatch comes packed with an easy to follow set of Instructions For Use to help guide you through the process.
You can download a copy of our Stikins ® Instructions For Use and/or our Trons ® Instructions For Use from our craftily named “Instructions For Use” page on our website; if you have any questions about how to apply your name labels or any other questions about our name label products, please contact our Customer Service Team who will be happy to help answer your queries.

Label Planet: NEW PRODUCT – Introducing The Newest Label Size Available From Label Planet – LP4/210!
This summer, we’ve welcomed a brand new label size to our world of labels so our customers have even more choice when it comes to picking the perfect label.
A new addition to our range of rectangular labels with square cut corners, the LP4/210 label size measures 210mm wide by 74.25mm high, which makes a brilliantly versatile size that can come in handy in all kinds of ways.
For customers who want their labels to be long and thin, the LP4/210 is a perfect option to use for these applications. It’s a really useful size for creating address and shipping labels (whether you’re sending personal correspondence or delivering products to customers), for getting your files and folders labelled (especially if you’ve got an endless pile of lever arch files and box files to sort through), and is a great way to get any space organised at home or at work by adding labels to your drawers, cabinets, boxes, and shelves (whether you’re simply trying to bring a bit of harmony to your living or work space or you’re keeping track of endless boxes of stock).
Our LP4/210 label size is supplied on blank A4 sheets of matt white paper with a standard permanent adhesive, which will allow these labels to remain firmly stuck onto a range of materials and surfaces. With a minimum order quantity of 25 sheets, these labels are among our stocked items, which are available to order for same day despatch.
You can find and download printing templates for our new size on the LP4/210 Template Information Page, which provides a full set of templates (in Word or PDF format), details about this label size, and a few tips for designing and printing labels of this particular size and layout.
Take a look at the template information page for more information about our brand new label size or visit the LP4/210 product page to place your order today!
At Label Planet, we try to make sure that all of our customers receive their name labels as quickly as possible, so you can get on with enjoying your summer without waiting around or spending time trying to find out why your order hasn’t arrived yet.
Every order we receive by 3pm, Monday to Friday, will be made and despatched same day, while orders placed after 3pm or over the weekend will be made and despatched on the next working day.
All orders are despatched via Royal Mail’s first class service as standard; 93% of items sent via this service will arrive on the next (working) day, with the rest taking a day or two extra.
If you want to make sure that your labels absolutely positively arrive in plenty of time, you can opt to upgrade to a guaranteed next (working) day service, which will guarantee that your name labels arrive by 1pm the next working day (shipping cost: £5.75).
Please note that this option is not available online so you will need to place your order by phone to request next day delivery; you should also note that this service requires a signature as proof of delivery so you will need to provide a delivery address where you (or someone else) will be available to sign for your order.

Label Planet: Lost In The Land Of Label Planet Labels? Try Our Label Finder To Help You Find Your Way To The Perfect Label!
Here at Label Planet, we know it can be difficult to find the perfect label for your application – especially once you realise there are far more options to choose from than you first thought!
To help you out, we’ve put together a simple Label Finder, which does all the hard work for you!
As you can see, all you need to do is enter the things that you know you want your labels to be and our Label Finder will give you a list of labels that match your requirements. You can then further refine this list (by choosing more options from the categories provided), request a sample of the label products that you’re most interested in (so you can make sure that those labels will work in your application or to help to visualise which is the best option for your project), or go ahead and visit the product page of the labels the Finder has found for you to place an order.
- Use the “Label Use” category to view label products that we recommend for specific label applications
(remember, these are only suggestions and you are completely free to choose another label size or material if you like!)
- Use the “Printer Type” category to view label products that are compatible with your printer
(some of our labels are only for use with laser printers or inkjet printers, while others are suitable for use with both – if you enter the type of printer you have, the Finder will instantly exclude any labels that aren’t compatible with your printer)
- Select as many categories as you like – the more information you provide, the shorter your shortlist of options will be!
(each time you make a selection the Finder will automatically exclude any label products that don’t meet your requirements, so you may find that if you are too specific you don’t end up finding many (or any) suitable labels; you can play around with the different filters to give yourself more options to choose from)
Name labels are a personalised product so it’s entirely up to you what text you request when you order BUT we do have a few handy tips to help you make sure your name labels are useful as possible.
The first thing to bear in mind is that our name labels are only made to ONE size; our Stikins ® name labels measure 30mm wide by 15mm high, while our Trons ® name transfers measure 35mm wide by 15mm high.
The size of our labels DOES NOT adjust to fit in the number of characters you have requested – instead our system will count up the number of characters you have requested and select the largest possible font size that will allow all of those characters to fit onto each label.
This means that you need to keep your text short and sweet!
Most customers choose to add a name only to their labels; you can choose to add a first name, nickname, or surname only, or you may wish to include a full name (along with middle names and/or nicknames if you so choose), or something in between (for example, an initial and a surname).
We advise that you use the default layout (2 lines) and enter the first name (or names) onto the top line and the surname onto the bottom line. If you are requesting a name with both a short first name and a short surname, are requesting one name only, or are requesting an initial and a surname, you may want to switch to the 1 line layout to increase the font size that you receive.
You may also wish to include an additional piece of information; popular examples include:
- A piece of contact information
Most people choose to add a phone number so that they can be contacted if an item is found. Some people may choose an email address or home address BUT we would advise against this unless you have a very short email address or you choose a shortened version of your home address. We would also advise against using more than one piece of contact information.
- Medical/allergy information
If your child has a medical condition or an allergy, adding this information to their name labels creates an additional medical alert that can be used to keep their medical equipment and/or food safe or to alert people to their condition if an emergency should arise.
- A personalised message
For example: “Please Return To”, “Property Of”, or “This Belongs To”.
- A year, class, or form name
This can make it easier for your child’s belongings to be returned to them quickly within the school environment.
We have added an Example Print Page to our website, which shows the font size created by adding different amounts of text in different ways.
To place an order today, simply visit our website to get started; alternatively, you can place an order with our Customer Service Team over the phone, or take a look through our blog and FAQ pages for more information, tips, and advice.
Thursday, 11 August 2016
If you’re starting a brand new project this summer and you need to source some suitable labels, it’s always a good idea to request a sample so you can make absolutely sure that the labels you pick will do the job you need them to – before you go ahead and buy.
Requesting a sample gives you a chance to do all sorts of things, including:
- Making sure you really like the way they look
As with anything that needs to look the part, you may buy labels in a particular colour or finish that seems like it will be perfect for your application, only to find that they’re not at all what you wanted when they arrive.
At Label Planet, we offer a range of colours and finishes (including seven pastel colours, five fluorescent colours, gold and silver, and a brown Kraft paper, along with options for matt, gloss, and semi-gloss finishes) BUT the best way to find out if they’ve got the perfect look to go with your project is to request a sample sheet and see for yourself!
- Making sure they’ll withstand any environmental challenges
If you know that your labels will be going into an environment with some unusual characteristics, then it’s always a good idea to request a sample to check that they’ll actually be able to work in those conditions. For example, if you know that your labels will be exposed to high or low temperatures (or even fluctuations between both), that they will be exposed to or immersed in water, or that they may be frequently handled, you can request a sample to double check that the labels you are interested in will withstand those challenges without being damaged (or even disintegrating).
- Making sure they stick onto the surface you need them to stick to
This is especially important if you are labelling something that is made of an unusual material or has a varied or curved surface; while the majority of our permanent adhesives are designed to adhere strongly to the majority of surfaces and materials, there are some that may prove more of a challenge (in which case you would need to try one of our stronger adhesives, such as our High Tack or Marine Adhesives). It is impossible for us to guarantee that any one of our adhesives will adhere to an unusual material or surface type and it is always best to test an adhesive in the exact environmental conditions of your label application.
- Making sure they will go through your printer properly
Some printers may struggle to handle labels because they tend to be made of different materials and are much thicker than standard sheets of paper. Smaller, more basic models of printer are less likely to be able to process labels; these printers tend to be designed for printing onto basic sheets of standard paper ONLY, which means that trying to put labels through them could damage your printer. If you aren’t sure if your printer is able to accept sheets of labels, we strongly advise taking a look at your printer’s manual (or contacting the printer manufacturer/visiting their website for advice) as all printer manuals will include a list of specifications for your model of printer, including information about the types and thicknesses of materials that it can (and cannot) process.
- Making sure you’ve had a “trial run” at DIY label printing
You can also use your sample to have a trial run at printing your labels yourself – which is a great idea if you’ve never done it before. You can use your samples to check if your template is set up correctly and if you have selected the best combination of print settings in your printer’s properties to create the print quality and accurate alignment that you need.
To request a sample and get your summer project underway, simply visit our Label Sample Request page or contact our Customer Service Team.
Our print system is fully automated, which means that whatever text is printed onto one label within a pack is printed onto ALL of the labels within that pack – so you cannot split a pack between different names.
HOWEVER, we are more than happy for customers to get a bit creative with the text they request, so that they WILL be able to share a pack between two or more members of their family.
In fact, we’ve even got a few pointers to get you started!
- Enter A Surname Only
If you simply enter your surname, the labels can be shared by ALL members of your family. Customers who choose this option often like to add “Family Surname” (or “Surname Family”) to the top line and then add a contact phone number to the bottom line.
- Enter A Surname & An Initial Only
Obviously, this only works if your children share the same initial but this is a quick and easy way to make your name labels more personal than just entering the surname only.
- Enter A Surname Only & Request A Blank Line
As long as you use a suitable pen (such as a laundry pen) you can choose to write on your name labels; if you add a blank space to the top line and add your surname to the bottom line, you will receive a set of name labels that you can split in any way you like simply by writing in the name that you need a name label for.
- Enter One Name On The Top Line And One Name On The Bottom Line
By entering a full name on each of the two lines, you can then cut your labels in half to create individual labels for two names. You will need to take care when cutting the labels and we recommend avoiding this option if you need to include long names (e.g. double-barrelled surnames), as this will significantly reduce the font size that is used to print your labels.
- Enter Initials & Surname Onto One Line
If you enter the first initial (or short name) followed by a surname followed by the second initial (or short name), you can create individual labels by cutting off one of the initials (or names).
- Enter All Of The Names & Share!
Some of our customers choose to enter both first names on the top line (e.g. “Name 1 or Name 2” or “Name 1 & Name 2”) and the surname on the bottom line, so that lost items can be returned to the right family (albeit maybe not with the right child!).

We often have enquiries from customers in the Republic Of Ireland, who aren’t sure if they can place an order with us. We DO accept orders from the Republic of Ireland BUT we do ask that these orders be placed over the phone so that we can arrange for the correct shipping arrangements to be made, based on the specific items that you wish to order.
This is because the shipping will depend on the exact items that you order – or, more precisely, the overall weight of the items in your order – and currently we do not have the facility to add the correct shipping option to orders from Ireland via our website.
So, how do you place an order for delivery to Ireland?
Simply contact our Customer Service Team; let us know the label products and quantities you would like to order and we will provide you with a quote for those items – along with the shipping cost for your order. If you wish to proceed with your order, simply make payment with a debit or credit card over the phone OR request a Proforma Invoice (against which payment can be made by debit/credit card, BACS transfer, or cheque).
Smaller orders (25-150 sheets) will be sent via Royal Mail’s International Signed For Service, with same day despatch for orders placed by 4:30pm (Monday to Friday); larger orders will be sent via a 2-3 working day carrier service with same day despatch for stocked items (less than 500 sheets) and up to five working days for made to order items.
Made to order items are identified as having a 500 sheet minimum order quantity; despatch is estimated at up to five working days although standard paper products are generally despatched much sooner.
If you are VAT registered, you can also request that the VAT be removed from the cost of your order; simply have your VAT number to hand and we will ensure that your order cost is exempt from VAT.
If you have any questions or queries about placing an order for delivery to the Republic of Ireland, please contact our Customer Service Team by phone or by email; alternatively, give us a call on + 1270 668076 to place an order (Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm).
While ordering name labels isn’t exactly going to be the most interesting thing you do this summer, we would advise customers that it’s well worth taking your time to make sure that the name labels you order are exactly what you want – so you don’t have to waste the end of your summer holidays requesting replacements because you didn’t double check your details.
Name labels are by their very nature a personalised product and we’ve found that each and every one of our customers has their own idea of how they want their name labels to be personalised; HOWEVER, we can ONLY personalise your name labels with the information that you provide so it’s well worth taking a moment to double check the details you’ve entered to make sure that your name labels will be made EXACTLY how you want them to be.
Ordering items online is a convenient way to get things done quickly and easily BUT it’s also really easy to make a mistake; whether you accidentally hit the wrong key on your keyboard or you get distracted by something else, it is all too easy to end up requesting name labels that are misspelled, don’t have capital letters where you want them, or that have important information missing.
At Label Planet, we give our customers THREE chances to double check their details and we strongly recommend taking advantage of each and every one to make sure that when your name labels arrive they’re exactly as you want them to be:
- MY BASKET:
Each time you add a pack of labels to your basket, you will be directed to a page showing the contents of your basket, including the details of each pack you have added along with the text you have entered.
After you complete your order, you will be directed to a page showing the complete details of your order, including your delivery information, and the details of each pack you have ordered.
- EMAIL CONFIRMATION:
A copy of the confirmation page will also be emailed to you to let you know that your order has been successful.
If you do find a mistake in your order, don’t panic! Simply get in touch with our Customer Service Team as quickly as you can with your order reference number and the details of what needs to be amended. If you are ordering outside of our office hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm), send us an email and we’ll make sure your order is corrected for you.
Get started with an order by visiting our Stikins ® Product Page or our Trons ® Product Page; to find out how to get in touch with us, simply visit our Contact Us page.

While you might think that you can just pop your labels into your printer and press print (as you would when printing onto normal blank sheets of A4 paper), you should always take the time to set up your printer properly to improve both the print quality and the accuracy of the print alignment that you get on your labels.
This is because your printer’s settings and setup actually has a lot of influence over how well and how accurately your template will print onto your labels – and if you don’t take the time to select the right settings, you might well find that your perfectly presented template ends up misaligned and your print starts to chip or flake away from your labels.
We’ve put together a hit list of things to do BEFORE you press print to make sure you end up with perfectly printed labels.
- Use the media bypass tray (if your printer has one)
The media bypass tray is a separate tray that is usually just above or below the paper tray; where the paper tray is designed specifically for processing blank sheets of paper (which are usually 80-90gsm in thickness), the media bypass tray is designed specifically to handle thicker materials – including labels.
However, as the name suggests, not only is the media bypass tray designed for media other than paper, it also bypasses at least one set of rollers within the printer – this means it offers a straighter, more direct route through the printer, which reduces the possibility of your sheets rotating slightly as they are pulled through and around each set of rollers and this improves the accuracy of your print positioning.
- Check your printer settings
Printers tend to have a whole variety of settings that are designed to adjust how your printer works to suit the medium that you are printing onto and the type of document or file you are printing. Most printers will have settings that will greatly improve the print quality that you can achieve when you print onto labels and you should always go through your printer’s properties to find and select these options before printing your labels.
Page Size/Media Size/Page Layout/Media Layout: you MUST make sure your printer is set to an A4 page size or the alignment of your template will be completely distorted as your printer attempts to print to a page size that is larger or smaller than A4.
Type/Weight: these options will relate to settings that are designed to improve the print quality on a specific type or weight of media; some printers offer specific “Labels” settings, while others will offer similar settings under the heading “Heavy Paper”.
For example, with laser printers, the “Labels” or “Heavy Paper” settings will increase the heat that is applied and slow down the speed of your printer, which helps the toner to bond firmly in place on the surface of your labels.
For more handy tips and advice, visit our Help Pages or our Blog; alternatively, you can download a template from our Template Pages and have a go at printing your own labels today! Remember, we also offer a free Sample Request service, so you can always request a couple of sheets to use as a “trial run” to check for yourself that your printer is capable of printing the labels that you need.
Our Stikins ® name labels are a brilliantly useful back to school extra that can quickly and easily get all of your children’s belongings safely and securely labelled – so you don’t end up wasting time and money replacing items that are only a few weeks old.
These super flexible labels are made with incredibly advanced materials, which allow them to adhere to all kinds of personal items – as well as gripping firmly onto the wash-care label of fabric items, such as school uniform and P.E. kits. This means that you only have to buy the one name label product to label up pretty much everything your children will need (or want) to take to school with them.
A lot of name label products are designed specifically for one (or two) things only, which means you end up paying for multiple packs of labels so that you have some for school uniform, some for shoes, some for lunch boxes and water bottles, and so on – which we think is a rather complicated way of doing things!
Stikins ® were designed with busy parents in mind and we’ve tried to make them as quick and simple to order AND use as possible. These name labels simply peel off their backing sheet and stick onto the wash-care label of clothes or directly onto the (hundreds and thousands of) personal items that your children take to school with them – so they only take a moment to apply, which leaves you free to get on with more important (and fun!) things this summer.
Our name labels are supplied in four pack sizes:
N30 – 30 Stikins ® name labels - £6.00
N60 – 60 Stikins ® name labels - £8.50
N90 – 90 Stikins ® name labels - £10.50
N120 – 120 Stikins ® name labels - £12.50
This summer, we’re also offering two special MIXED PACKS, which contain both Stikins ® AND our silver name labels (which can be used to add a more decorative name label to your children’s personal belongings, lunch boxes and water bottles, and all those essential extras that they need for school).
M120 – 60 Stikins ® name labels & 60 silver name labels – £10.50
M240 – 120 Stikins ® name labels & 120 silver name labels – £18.50
All prices are inclusive of VAT and standard UK delivery (Royal Mail’s first class service).
Our name labels also have a bonus quality, which allows them to survive all year round. Many name label products are made with print that is NOT resistant to the ingredients used in sun creams and lotions but, here at Label Planet, we have sourced an advanced ink that IS resistant to these products, which means that your name labels will remain clear and legible all year long!

Label Planet: Introducing A Quick & Easy Way To Find The Perfect Label For You – The Label Planet Label Finder!
Yes, we’re delighted to announce that our website now features a fantastically easy way for customers to find a label that is perfect for their individual label application.
Whether you know that you need some labels for a new project but you’ve no idea where to get started or you simply want a quick way to find a shortlist of options that you can choose from, our Label Finder makes it extremely easy to narrow down your choices until you’re left with the perfect label.
It can be quite confusing trying to find the right label for the job you have in mind – especially if you’re discovering that there are a lot more choices than you thought there would be and you’re unsure of which ones are best for you – so we’ve designed a Label Finder that will help to make it a whole lot simpler (and far less stressful) for our customers to find the perfect label to suit their requirements.
With our Label Finder, you simply enter the conditions that you know your labels need to match and the Finder will filter out any products that don’t match to leave you with a short(er) list of label products that would be suitable for your needs. You can then further narrow down this list by selecting other options that you think would be suitable for your particular purpose.
For example, you might know that you want your labels to be a specific width, height, or shape, so you can enter these details to narrow down the label products that we have to match (and see the different material options available). If you know that you need your labels to meet a particular requirement as part of your label application, you can also filter your search further by requesting labels that are a particular colour, made of a particular material or adhesive (e.g. if you know you need permanent labels or removable labels), that have a particular finish, or that are waterproof.
Alternatively, you may already have some labels and you want to see if we supply a compatible product (perhaps in a different, or better quality, material or adhesive option); you can use our Avery Template Code option to find products that match the Avery labels that you’ve already got OR use our Number Per Sheet and Width/Height options to see if we have a compatible label size for the labels you need to replace.
We highly recommend entering your printer type to narrow down your options; some of our label materials are suitable for use with a laser printer only or with an inkjet printer only, which means you can instantly remove label products from your search that aren’t compatible with your printer. You can also use our Label Use category to refine your search based on the label products that we would recommend for specific label applications.
While we couldn’t possibly list ALL of the possible label applications that our customers might need to find labels for, we have done our best to come up with a comprehensive list of label applications that offer a basic starting point for a search. We have selected a number of label products that we believe are the most suitable for the label applications listed in this category as a guide for customers who want some extra assistance in choosing the right label – although, you are, of course, perfectly free to ignore our suggestions and choose an alternative that you think is better for your label application!
You can also use our Label Finder to find the product page for a label that you have bought from us in the past – simply select the code listed on your package or paperwork from the “Label Code” category – or you can see what other sizes are available in a material you’re already using (by entering the Material Code) or see what other material options are available for a label size that you already use (by entering the Label Planet Size Code).
Visit our Label Finder page today to see if you can find the perfect label for your label application; remember, you can always use our free Sample Request service to test a couple of label sizes or material options to see which one is best for your application, or you can get in touch with our Customer Service Team for further advice or to discuss any questions or queries you might have.

With summer in full swing, you might be looking at your list of Back To School essential (and not so essential) purchases and wondering exactly how much this year’s list is going to cost you – which means you may well be on the lookout for discounts and offers to help you out.
At Label Planet, we aren’t running any offers or vouchers this summer BUT we are happy to announce that we are continuing our multi-pack discount, which means that ANY order of 4 (or more) packs of labels will automatically qualify for a 10% discount.
It’s completely up to you what those 4 packs are – whether they’re exactly same or all completely different – as long as there are at least 4 packs in your basket when you checkout, you’ll receive a 10% discount.
While you might be thinking that this won’t be of any use to you – because you only need one or two packs of name labels – we are more than happy for friends, families, and neighbours to club together to place an order between them so they will all qualify for the 10% discount.
To get started with an order, simply visit our Stikins ® name labels product page (to start your order with a pack of Stikins®) or our Trons ® name transfers product page (to start with a pack of Trons®).
